The SALUS Group (TSG) is an advanced medical training solution provider specializing in medical modeling and simulation, education, assessment, and medical training (TCCC). We provide expertise in developing end-to-end solutions through the entire program life cycle. Our experts provide comprehensive and deep domain expertise in deployment medicine, combat trauma, professional education, graduate medical education and medical simulation training.
and Training (MST)
TSG is a premier leader in the DoD Medical Simulation and Training (MST) domain. Our staff has decades of experience providing the full spectrum of services for conducting MST including Qualified Instructors for Basic Cardiac Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Emergency Medical Technician, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and Advanced Trauma Life Support, Patient Simulator Life Cycle Management, Life Cycle Training, Instructor Operator Training, Maintenance and Logistics.
With global capabilities that include MST Program Execution and Oversight, Project Management/Simulation Program Management, Simulation Operations and Maintenance, and Program Management Office (PMO) supporting DoD Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) and Operational training sites both within the continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of CONUS (OCONUS). TSG has been recognized for our service-wide support in medical simulation activities, based upon the premise of quality service, coordination, and execution.
Curriculum Development, Management,
Execution and Oversight
Our team of Curriculum Developers includes Nurse Educators (RN) who serve as medical and simulation content subject matter experts (SMEs) for developing curriculum related to simulation technology that includes, but is not limited to, human patient simulators, online courseware, virtual training, serious medical gaming technology, standardized patients, immersive virtual environments, and task trainers individually or in combination.
Our team of curriculum developers evaluates simulation technologies and adjuncts to meet training gaps and assist with the planning for deployment of such technologies and adjuncts to appropriate simulation sites. They also stay abreast of current medical management practices and use that knowledge to adapt curriculum products.
We evaluate simulation technologies and adjuncts to meet training gaps and assist with planning for deployment of such technologies and adjuncts to appropriate simulation sites. We ensure that training is evaluated by metrics/survey. Results are tabulated, collated, shared, and coordinated with education and training personnel/Simulation Center site leadership and other designated stakeholders. TSG integrates simulations into organizational training initiatives to help ensure the training customer has the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet operational requirements.
Simulation Site Management and Site Operations
TSG processes ensure that simulation center operations align with the organizational training needs, objectives, and requirements as these arise.
We coordinate the delivery of medical simulation expertise and support to standardized courses that lend themselves to simulation, including but not limited to: Basic Cardiac Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Trauma Nurse Corps Curriculum, Emergency Medical Technician, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
Logistics and Resource
TSG is responsible for and provides support for the largest and most diverse inventory of Human Patient Simulators (HPS), Surgical Simulators, Advanced Medical Procedure Medical Simulators, and Medical Part Task Trainers within the DoD. Supporting simulation sites CONUS and OCONUS. This support includes Operator level Maintenance/Troubleshooting and repair, managing warranties and vendor repairs, inventory and ordering of repair parts/bench stock and inventory/ ordering of consumable parts to include moulage.
TSG supports the analysis of the Service Specific Medical and Logistics, Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Navy Medicine and Education Logistics Command (NMETLC), and other pertinent federal and DoD planning and programming documents to identify shortfalls and define the nature and scope of acquisition efforts.
Military and Tactical Medicine/Tactical Combat Casualty Care TCCC or TC3
TSG is a global leader with experience providing all levels of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training as well as Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) training for Civilian Tactical Emergency Medical Service (EMS). Our team of Subject Matter Experts has a thorough knowledge and experience in all aspects
