The SALUS Group respects individual’s privacy and confidentiality of the Personal Information (PI) in its care. SALUS has implemented this policy to protect and secure PI, as well as explain how that information is collected, processed, and shared. SALUS will ensure that the collection, storage, and disclosure of Personal Information reflect the confidential nature of the information. SALUS will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local privacy laws in accordance with protecting the confidentiality of Personal Information.

  • Precise geographic location - information from technology which directly identifies the specific location of a natural person with precision and accuracy within a radius of 1,750 feet.

  • Traffic Analytics - analysis of patterns in communications

 

Purpose of Collecting Information

 

Personal Information as well as non-personal information is collected for communication purposes in cases where the “contact us” form is submitted. Traffic analytical data and precise geographic location is collected to create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal information which may be used to provide and improve services, as well as to comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

 

Storing and Protecting Personal Information

TheSALUSgrp.com is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides an online platform that allows the The SALUS Group to showcase our services. PI may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and the general Wix.com applications.  The data they store is on secure servers behind a firewall. 

 

The SALUS Group will utilize reasonable security measures to protect sensitive personal information. This includes limiting access to personnel files and confidential PI, keeping PI to a need-to-know basis, and technology security including passwords. SALUS will provide training to staff that have access to PI on the importance of safeguarding, confidentiality, and policy compliance.

 

If a breach of personal information does occur, SALUS will complete and investigation and put a fix in place. Local law enforcement or federal authorities will be notified as appropriate. Those who have been affected by the breach will also be notified, either via email or a letter sent through the US Postal Service.

 

Sharing and Selling Personal Information

 

The SALUS Group will comply with any court orders, subpoenas, or warrants requesting PI. In addition, SALUS will work with any law enforcement or government agency that requires gathering PI for enforcing laws and regulations. SALUS may also disclose PI in an emergency to protect the physical safety of other employees, customers, or any other person.

 

SALUS does not sell PI or share it for advertising purposes.

 

The SALUS Group reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. If material changes are made, this policy will be updated.
